Role Description
As a Specialist - General Medicine at High Range Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients with complex medical problems in a multidisciplinary hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Diagnosis and Treatment: Conduct thorough medical assessments and develop treatment plans for patients in the Outpatient Department, Inpatient Department, and intensive care units.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, other specialists, and junior medical staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, offering insights and best practices for diagnosing and treating complex cases.
Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including detailed medical histories, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties on rotational basis to respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care when required.
Qualifications:
MD or DNB in General Medicine.
A valid medical license to practice in India.
Passion for providing patient-centered care and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medicine.
